Are Memorial Cards & Order of Service Booklets important on the day of the Funeral Service?

Families have found that cards or booklets were much easier and convenient to give out on the day of the service as most of the people who would attend are usually known family, relatives and friends. It is more difficult to find addresses and send cards afterwards. In reality, after the funeral service is over, the only tangible memory families and friends had as a keepsake was the memorial cards or booklets.

How many cards should I consider ordering?

An average and more economical order allowing for extras is usually 100-150 cards. It is better to have left over cards on the day of the service especially, than to run short. You can still always keep or send out the remainder of cards to others who hear the news later on also.

Can I get more cards later on?

Yes, you can order as many cards as you like after the initial order has been printed. You will be charged at the same rate as you ordered originally per card + delivery fees, as we keep files for up to 3 months. After this period you must re-order the full minimum quantity again.

Which is the best type of quality photo to supply if required?

Photos can vary in size and quality, most of the time a simple close up snap shot size photo is perfect for reproduction as we can also retouch certain photos to enhance images. If an enlargement of a photo is required for framing purposes then a larger or much sharper photo is required to keep quality and consistency when enlarged.

Do I get envelopes with my cards?

All folding cards are supplied with envelopes, any other style of card does not come with envelopes simply because of the irregularity of the size of the card.

How much time do I have to order my cards?

We usually would want an order as urgent as possible as time has to be allowed for production and delivery purposes. If the cards are required for the day of the service then we must have the order immediately. If the cards are not required until after the day of the service then usually it will be printed within 2-3 working days. We will consider priorities depending on time available in production and where and when the order has to be delivered.

Do you print order of service booklets?

Yes, we do print order of service booklets. Booklets vary in price depending on the number of pages and artwork involved. Please contact us via email or phone for assistance and pricing.

Can I order your cards from any funeral director?

Yes, you can. If your funeral director doesn't have our brand of stationery you may order directly from us or ask them to contact us to arrange the order on your behalf.
